DANCE PROGRAMs

Dream St Dance Company with Dream Movement offers high-energy, inclusive, and curriculum-aligned with the NSW PDHPE and creative art syllabus. With over 10 years of experience, our inclusive programs build confidence, creativity, and fitness through engaging teaching methods and a variety of dance styles, including hip-hop and contemporary. We cater for single, double class or stage groupings & provide students with the opportunity to create, compose and explore movement in a safe and fun environment.

  • Our school dance programs are suitable for all group sizes from single class instruction, multiple classes taught at once (a cost effective option), year groups and even large-scale stage performances. Over the course of ten weeks, students will learn up to eight dances, all of which link to the school curriculum strands and capabilities. We offer a wide range of dance styles paired with fresh music so every child will be excited to boogie on down!

  • What better way to break a sweat than to bust a move on the dance floor? Our Dance 4 Sport Program is an energetic and fun addition to the usual ‘Friday sports’ offerings. Students of all ages will be taught fundamental athletic movements, practice their dance skills and build upon kinaesthetic intelligence with music they love!

    Our program is flexible and can be tailored for small and large groups. Dance 4 Sport is a great option for students who are not competing in district school sport but would love to learn a few new dance moves with their friends during school hours.

    • Offers dance rehearsals leading up to Year 6 graduation ceremonies.

    • Provides dance coordination and choreography for the Year 6 Farewell night.

    • Exclusive program runs for 5-10 weeks.

    • Students learn a dance style, either as a troupe or partnered dancing if required.

    • Engaging program that builds confidence and creates lasting memories.

    • Dance routines can be showcased to parents on farewell night or during the school ceremony.

Competitions & Performance Groups

Dream Movement offers professional, tailored dance programs to schools, helping students enhance their skills through selective dance show groups. We provide expert assistance in registering and preparing groups for competitions such as the City of Sydney Dance Eisteddfod, CASPA School Eisteddfod, and other similar events.

From choreography and music editing to formations and costumes, we handle every detail to ensure a polished, fun, and stress-free experience. Our goal is to create unforgettable performances that make every student, teacher, and parent proud come showtime.

After School Care

Dream St Dance offers a dynamic after-school care program designed to provide engaging entertainment for children in the afternoons. We partner with schools to bring high-energy, fun-filled activities to students, ensuring they have a creative and active outlet after class.

For parents with busy schedules, we also offer an opt-in service, allowing children to participate in after-school dance activities at an affordable price. This ensures that even if parents are working late, their children still have access to enriching extracurricular experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

With a dance journey spanning over a decade, Director and Founder Ashleigh Andrews is no stranger to the world of dance and education. Ashleigh's extensive experience encompasses public and private domains, interfaith environments, religious institutions, co-ed settings, and single-gender schools. What truly distinguishes her is her unique flair for making dance resonate with every child. Her passionate approach ensures that even children with special needs, learning challenges, or behavioural concerns find a haven in dance, experiencing its joys, benefits, and transformative power.
